Our education team will make sure you enter service with the skills to do a great job.  New Hire Training is integrated with a field-training program where you'll be mentored by experienced providers. Every provider on our staff attends regular training to learn and grow our clinical knowledge and skill.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Emergency Medical Technicians:

Colorado EMT certification

NREMT certification

BLS Provider

IV Approval

Provided upon hire FEMA - IS 100, 200, 700, and 800


Paramedics:

Colorado EMT certification

NREMT certification

BLS provider

ACLS

PALS

Paramedic certifications provided upon hire:

NRP, STABLE, PHTLS and FEMA - IS 100, 200, 700, and 800

VOLUNTEERING

As our organization began as an all-volunteer in 1963, Many individuals may choose this route as the beginning of their EMS career and others may choose this as a way to give back. We currently aren't accepting volunteer applications.   Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We hope to accept new applications for volunteers in the future.

AIRLIFE CCT EMT

Beginning in June of 2021, Northglenn Ambulance became a partner with HealthONE AirLife Denver.  With this partnership, we provide the ambulances and EMTs for AirLife's Critical Care Transport Team.  If you are interested in one of the EMT positions, please fill out the application below.

Currently accepting application for the following positions: 

Full-Time EMT

Benefits include: Health Insurance, 401K participation opportunities, company-provided uniforms, and free education including AHA and NAEMT courses. Paramedic school tuition reimbursement.

Hourly:  $22.50

Full-Time Paramedic

Benefits include Health Insurance, 401K participation opportunities, company-provided uniforms, and free education including AHA and NAEMT courses.

Hourly: $35.00

Full-Time Airlife EMT

Work with our Critical care transport teams include RNs and paramedics. Be a part of a special team and learn the ins and outs of the CCT world. Benefits include Health Insurance, 401K participation opportunities, company-provided uniforms, and free education including AHA and NAEMT courses. Paramedic school tuition reimbursement.  This position includes a Jumpsuit uniform. 

Hourly: $22.50

Full-Time Dispatcher

Hourly: $30.00

This position is responsible for receiving calls and booking transports. A dispatcher is responsible for knowing the Denver metro area and quoting reasonable and accurate times for transport to customers. A candidate must have computer experience and be willing to learn the Zoll dispatching program. 

Part-Time Paramedic

Hourly:  $35.00

Part-Time EMT

Hourly:  $22.50
