Northglenn Ambulance is a Colorado non-profit ambulance service. We were founded in 1963 by the citizens of the area which would soon be incorporated as the City of Northglenn, a suburb of Denver. Although our company has grown over 750% during the last 4 decades the City of Northglenn remains the home to our headquarters.
In 1994, our service area expanded outside of the city boundaries of Northglenn. We currently have 6 stations throughout Adams and Denver counties. Northglenn Ambulance is the primary 911 contract provider in the South Adams County Fire Protection District. In 2004 we began providing BLS services.
Community volunteers provided oversight and operations for our company until the end of 1989 when our first paid staff members were introduced. Operational goals are now met utilizing the skills and dedication of both career and volunteer staff members.
We offer BLS, ALS, and CCT transport. Our high quality standards ensure excellent patient care to all of our customers.
We are committed to the communities that we serve. A large portion of this commitment comes in the form of community outreach. If you are interested in opportunities for outreach, please get in contact with us below.
We offer community and healthcare training to those interested. Our main training location is at 10655 N. Washington Street in Northglenn. Click on the Education page to find more information.
We are happy to be a 6 year participant in American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline EMS Program. This program ensures our cardiac care is of the best quality. We have received the highest possible award each year.
